Bilateral relations between Luxembourg and Bosnia-Herzegovina
- On July 4, 2025, the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Christian Schmidt, visited Luxembourg for a working lunch with the Prime Minister, Mr. Luc Frieden, as well as a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Mr. Xavier Bettel. The last High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina to visit Luxembourg for a working visit was Mr. Valentin Inzko, first in January 2012 and then a second time in March 2015.
- On June 15, 2022, former Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Mr. Jean Asselborn visited Bosnia and Herzegovina following an invitation from the former Bosnian Minister of Foreign Affairs Bisera Turković. On September 13, 2018, a joint working visit of the foreign ministers of the three Benelux countries was organized in Sarajevo.
In terms of bilateral agreements, the Convention between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Bosnia and Herzegovina on social security, signed in Luxembourg on 8 April 2011, should be noted. In addition, an administrative arrangement specifying the modalities of application of the agreement was signed on the same day.
